Erin's Wedding

February 14th...we attended our niece's wedding in Ft. Wayne. Rhett and Avery could NOT stay off the dance floor and cut the rug for nearly 2 hours. Rhett broke out his best dance moves...the robot, shark, rump shaker, the animal, and his infamous "80s band" leg guitar. Avery turned to his booty shake up dance, and flash dance moves to earn the respect of the dance floor. At the end of the night, Rhett stole the show as he danced to his requested song of, "Stacey's Mom" by Fountains of Wayne. Swelling with pride because his song was playing, Rhett commanded the dance floor with everyone encircling him, and he used his plethora of moves to woo the crowd, then finished with a break dancing spin on the floor as he received an ovation from on-lookers. I am 100% serious about this. Rhett is so shy and easily embarrassed, but when it comes to dancing, the boy has confidence!

Flood

This week, due to 60 degree temps, 8 inches of snow melt, and 4 inches of rain, the creek flooded and over took our dock, fire pit, and picnic grill.

Fun but Tiring Saturday!

Today, the boys played soccer (Avery at 11 am and Rhett at 5 pm), we ate lunch at Grandma and Grandpa Berryman's, hung out with Uncle Scott, Rylie and Berkely, went to Northwestern's Middle School play, and played baseball, basketball, and more soccer in the field house. We got home a little after 9 pm, and the boys crashed. It was a fun, but tiring, day!

Getting Back to Normal

Today, we tried to get back to normal after Jenny's 2 week ordeal with being sick, off and on, and a week long hospital stay. We went to church, all came home and relaxed, Rhett and Avery and I played in the snow, and we watched the Super Bowl and ate snacks Jenny prepared.

This morning, Cal had fun looking at himself in the mirror and giving himself kisses (he actually thought he was looking at another baby). Then, Rhett began playing with him on the floor. Like we always tell Rhett, "Stay out of Cal's face!" Well today, Cal puked all over Rhett's face...I think Rhett learned his lesson!!!
