Last night, after the Thanksgiving festivities, Uncle Scott, Rylie, Berkley, and Piper spent the night. The kids watched Dumbo, then went to bed. When they woke up in the morning, they had a dance party, and helped Aunt Jenny decorate our living room "Charlie Brown" Christmas tree.

Thanksgiving in Kokomo
Thanksgiving in Ft. Wayne
Avery's Thanksgiving Program
This is the only picture I need to post...it sums up the event for Mom, Jenny, and I. Avery was hesitant to walk into the gym, looked scared, saw us, gave us a quick smile, then looked away for the entire program and did not participate in any of the activities. At one point, he even dropped his bell that he was supposed to ring. I feel sorry for him. I was the same way when I was his age...I feared programs.

HALLOWEEN!!!
We celebrated Halloween with friends and family. Grandma Becky and Grandpa Kenny, the Kretz's, Harsh's, Metz's, and Schoolman's came over and ate pizza before the Trick-O-Treating festivities began. The kids made a round through the neighborhood, then we went to Mrs. Gasawy's house (Rhett's teacher), then finished the night at the Metz's. I enjoyed some late night festivities with about a dozen of my 8th grade students. They were at the neighbors watching movies and hanging out. They decided to play hide and seek at about 10:30. So I dressed up in Avery's gorilla mask and hands, wore all black, and snuck out in the woods to scare them half to death. Needless to say, I had fun!
Rhett's 6th Birthday
On October 22nd, Jenny and the kids went to Ft. Wayne to celebrate Rhett's birthday (while I was recovering from knee surgery). Everyone had a good time, and since we were on fall break, Jenny and the kids went to Science Central with Grandma Mary for some more fun and activities. On October 25th, we celebrated Rhett's birthday with my family and the kids enjoyed the party and hanging with their cousins.
