Soccer at IWU

Today, we got up bright and early to travel to IWU to watch Carlos play soccer. Between games, we went to Matter Parker in Marion so the boys could play.

About Us

The Berryman's
We met in college while attending Indiana Wesleyan University. While we started as best friends, we fell in love and dated for 4 1/2 years before marrying in June of 2000. Since then, we have been happily married and welcomed three beautiful boys into the world, Rhett (6), Avery (4), and Cal (19 months).

"If you mess with the giraffe, you get the horns!" - Avery while wrestling with Daddy

"I wanna watch the Penguins of Madagascar on TV" -Avery

"No, we are going to watch baseball because we are a baseball family. Don't you want to play baseball someday, Avery?" - Daddy

"We are also a tornado family, and I am going to play baseball, Daddy! Avery, what do you want to be when you get older?" - Rhett

"I WANT TO BE A DOG!" -Avery

"What is that smell guys, it smells like poop!" - Daddy

"It is just you, Dad!" - Avery

"Daddy, I want to touch the clouds...and I want to go to the other side of the world." Rhett while looking at the sunset in the car with Daddy and Avery.

"What about you Avery? Do you want to fly? What do you want to do? - Dad

"Uhhh...I want to go to Red Lobster!" - Avery

"Rhett, are you going to play baseball at Florida or Vanderbilt?" - Daddy while watching college baseball with the boys

"I am not going to play baseball, I am going to be an animal scientist." -Rhett

"What about you Avery? Are you going to go to Florida or Vanderbilt?" - Daddy

"I am going to Cici's Pizza!" - Avery

"Rhett, someday you will marry a woman who loves Jesus, has a good heart, and is beautiful like Mommy." -Daddy

"With the face of a cat!" - Rhett

"Mommy, I don't need to eat lunch. I am eating candy!" - Avery

Jenny -"Avery, I need to know what you want to take for a snack tomorrow!"

Avery - "M&Ms!!!"

Jenny -"You need to pick something healthy to go with it."

Avery -"Water mom, just water!"

Avery jumped off the bed, grabbed his ankle, and said, "Mom, I think I broked my jaw bone!"

Grandma - "You get to celebrate a birthday today at preschool! Do you know who's birthday it is?

Avery - "Mrs. Saxton?"

Grandma - "No, you are celebrating Jesus' birthday!"

Avery - "Oh, well is Jesus going to be there?"

As Jenny was leaving the house to run at the gym, Avery opens the door and yells, "Bye Mom, have a good race! Remember, run fast. I hope you win. Make sure you get a prize!"

As I was putting screws into the boy's beds to bunk them together, Avery said, "Dad, you are a good screwer!"
